Collabs Project?

Just something to think of in the sort-of-near future... Not so sure if I will be doing it so soon!

Anyway, I'm wondering if anyone is interested in doing some collabs with me? I'm not talking your classic "One of us does the lineart and the other does the colours" thing, but more of a building process with some more turn taking. Example:

1. Person A makes some lines, almost a thumbnail on paper
2. Person B expands this to a rough sketch
3. Person A turns this into lineart
4. Person B lays down flat colours in the medium of their choice
5. Person A Puts in some shading and a few details/textures.
6. Person B Puts in highlights and a few details/textures.

That's just an example though. I'm aiming to have a different collaborative experience with each person - that would be fantastic.

A quick glance at my 'To Do' list should let anyone know that yeah, any real work on it from my end is not going to happen for a while, but I will get it going anyway! I only want to do this with around 5 people, because keeping up with more than that would be a pain in the butt.

I did not think that far for some unknown reason.

I would love to do something totally retarded and dorky though. I know you're good for it 8D 8D 8D "Overweight Unicorn" would be one of many things we could do that would be unbelievably awesome.

So's i was thinking over what we could do together, and i definitely want to do something completely unrelated to any fandoms, probably something with a "cold feeling", but that's about it

*Glee!* That sounds super awesome.

When I read 'cold feeling', my mind automatically went to lots of blues with a few darker (but still 'cold'

colours like brown or black, which would be present in something like a dead tree or something less overused. A lot of contrast in colour value/saturation anyway as opposed to contrasting hues.

Hopefully I did not lose you there D8

But yeah, my ideas beyong that are... Rocks. Tree (most likely dead/bare). Maybe some ice. And maybe a person somewhere... Who is unrelated to any fandoms. I don't know how cliché that is sounding or anything but oh well!

Then my other idea that has popped up while typing this is the Ninth Circle of Hell with people stuck in the ice and Lucifer in the middle (ala [link]) That would have to go as Fanart to the Divine Comedy/Dante's Inferno though, so I'm thinking no. It was the coldest feeling I could think of though!

No worries, I have the same problem DX

I think I'm playing at mailing something back and forth with Setsu so we can do a traditional piece, I know you love traditional art as well, and I could possibly do something like that as well? I wouldn't mind doing something with dark themes which might not necessarily be dark in colours, or something which is coloured like a dark piece but the subject isn't exactly dark. I think that would be fun 8D
